The fastest time from the test session yesterday was a 1:21.487 by Mark Webber in the Red Bull, as the track rubbers in, it will be interesting to see how much quicker the cars will go today.

Most of the teams have completed installation laps. No timed laps yet

Michael Schumacher is the first to set a time in the 1:26's followed by Pedro de la Rosa who sets a 1:23.609

Looks like Ferrari are finally going for low fuel runs!

Alonso has just set a 1:21.291. That is already quicker than the time set by Webber yesterday

Alonso improves again, now with a 1:21.183. He completes a 5 lap stint with very consistent times!

Vettel sets his first time of the day with a 1:23.746. 3 drivers have yet to set times and they are: Hamilton, Kubic and Glock.

Hamilton now sets a time moving into 4th with a 1:22.924. Kubica sets a time as well currently in 7th

Nearly all the teams are testing new upgrades and they will still put new parts in Bahrain! Formula 1 is amazing, the season hasn't even started yet!!

The Virgin team confirms that parts for the damaged Virgin Racin car arrived earlier today and that Glock will be out soon
