Can't confirm that SGD but he had that option prior to the start of practice without penalty.

Very limited action this session. One would expect the test drivers to do some serious running!

Only 8 drivers with lap times:

de la Rosa, M Schumacher, Zonta, Liuzzi, Monteiro, Doornbos, Karthikeyan, Freisacher, Albers

but this engine rule has wrecked practice. When will they get it right :twisted:

Not much can read from the times except that Pole time is looking lvery likley to be in the 1:33's :wink:

But the Toyota looks fast (for 5 laps maybe!!)

Renualt seem confident, Raikkonen and Montoya pretty close, Webber sandbagging half a second :lol: and Villeneuve still struggling :(
