Re: The 2017 Russian GP thread
We are back in Europe. This is where Lewis will hit his straps. Bottas seems to like this place and, now in a front line car, will finish in second.
The battle for third will again be between the Ferrari team mates with Sebastian ahead of Kimi.
Now, the battles for fifth and sixth. Young Max may again win the start against Daniel Ricciardo and will hold the upper position at the end.
Now, 7th through 10th. It has to be a Massa in the Williams, a Force India, a Renault and a Toro Rosso but I haven't decided on which drivers it will be.
So, these are my ramblings, what are yours?

FP2 Results
The Ferrari's are flying. Both Sebastian and Kimi seem at home with their cars at this circuit.
Valtteri Bottas likes this place and is next best. That said, he and Lewis are both regularly running off track.
Maybe it just wasn't such a good day for Lewis. He really doesn't seem comfortable in his car.
Red Bulls are Red Bulls. They just seem to get about with their business. If only more power could be extracted from their power units.
One thing that stood out in these sessions is the lack of slip angle the rear tyres have. You get 20 degrees out of line and you go around.
The circuit has another day to develop so hopefully this will rectify itself.

Re: The 2017 Russian GP thread
Well, did I enjoy the race?
Bottas' great start from position 3 passing and then covering Vettel into the first 90 degree turn was exceptional.
The closing laps grabbed my attention and the delay in Vettel taking his stop had me intrigued.
Other than that, the race was fairly spread out and I don't recall seeing an on track pass.
Not one of my favourites.

Re: The 2017 Russian GP thread
I pretty much agree. The start was exciting, the last few laps ultra-tense, the middle 45 a bit lacklustre.
However, it's the first race this season that's left me feeling a little less than thrilled, so that's not so bad.
