Mate JV will be out by San Marino. Jenson Button may now take his place

On a serious note, looks like F2005 with Barrichello isn't fast either. A 1:21.435.

Lets see what Schumacher does!!

Schumacher doesn't expect much difference in Bahrain but hopes for improvement in San Marino. Could make sense as it is colder there.
But the Ferrari / Bridgestone camp are in serious trouble. They are making all sorts of statements.
I said cracks will appear. Sure one bad race won't cause that but listen to them in Barcelona.

Your first line will have JV tearing his hair out!!!
I can't see schuey making a huge difference, unless of course the car has been specifically engineered for him to the degree that no one else can be quick in it :?
San Marino should be starting to warm up??

You never know, Jaguar was bought by Red Bull

The Russians own Jordan so why not

Actually I am a McLaren/Montoya fan :D

But Flavio indeed won with Michael in 94/95, that is correct

10 years later he'll win with Renault and without Michael.

Not too bad considering it took Ferrrari - lets see - 21 years for one of their drivers to win it 8)

Bloody incredible actually, that is even less than half the time

Interesting....
the F2005 has 500+ testing laps in Mugello, yesterday it was ~2.5 secs slower then the F2004 and Barichllo says:

"First impressions count and I am very happy with how it felt to drive the F2005. It is definitely quicker than the F2004 M and represents a step forward in every area."

what a non-sense!! every area? the same as JV(?) quoted Button saying (I didn find the quote(?)) ...

maybe they are not showing the real times??
...
Of course, of course, engineered yes yes, what about tampering with the timing system (G.Ross)

Ya Ya I said that, actually Button did, "Compared to last year, we have made a huge step back in every area .... it's just not good enough because we're quick - that's the annoying thing. It's very disappointing"

It is hard to read much from 'Official' releases, but when he says 'definitely quicker' and 'a step forward' well it is like he said nothing. It better be quicker and better be a step forward. The question is by how much and testing is showing us that it isn't much quicker. Brawn said between 0.5 and a second. I doubt it
We don't know if it cooks tyres, we don't know if it breaks down.

I doubt that they are playing with the times, for what purpose ?

They are not fidling with the timers, they are struggling big time!!

With Bridgestone guys admitting that sepang was their fault, they are in trouble.
'according to Bridgestone Technical Director Hirohide Hamashima it wasn't the F2004M but its tyres that were to blame for Ferrari's poor showing in Malaysia'

Graham,Bridgestone are Melting!!!

But do you think they can come back this year???MAyb in cooler n wet conditions only
An F1 Idiot!!!

Tampering with the times was only a joke

I reckon on hot tracks, Bridgestone will struggle just like 2003.

They don't have enough test data, it is as simple. They will make more mistakes than Michelin before reaching the ultimate compound. That is if they stay in F1 for that long

As others have said, Ferrari/Bridgestone enjoyed a 6 year winning streak. This is under a serious challenge and not just from one team.

The Bridgestones will be up and down all year proving too inconsistent for Ferrari to be able to challenge.
