And I hope Webber doesn't either!

I think the first 4 will be fine but with Montoya, Raikkonen Barrichello, and Alonso way back, expect something silly!

Certainly Kimi's save was the highlight

Good to see Webber fastest and I do hope that Williams were bluffing all along but Fisichella wasn't pushing

Gascoyne expects to Toyota to be with BAR and Williams :rolling:
Has he already resigned

Interesting grid!

So your scenarios for the start ? Many cars retiring on the first lap ?

Who will be the first to retire due to car failure (not accident or driver error) ?

No winners, just bragging rights

Started on the Trivia questions yet ?

Barrichello and Karthikeyan run into each other, Ralf Schumacher doesn't see them and does another one of his flyers!

5 cars will be out on the first lap.

Button will be the first out with a blown engine

As this is the first race, everyone will be catious and we won't have any pileups. First car to retire with mechanical problems will be a McLaren  most likley Montoya

Button is gentle on his car and won't stress his engine. Sato had a an engine change

Good to watch a race in prime time!

Race starting shortly. No change on the starting grid except for Michael and Sato dropping back a place each due to engine change. Massa now starts from 18th.

Conditions are dry, air temperature 19, track 26

Live timing here

Enjoy the race

Bad luck continues for Raikkonen. Looks like he'll be able to start from the pit lane
