Post by Tim » Sat Jan 29, 2005 11:01 pm

Only Badoer was driving an 04 spec car

Highlight: First time F2004M and MP4-20 test on same track.

Times from today
Franck Montagny Renault 1:10.252
Giancarlo Fisichella Renault 1:10.636
Takuma Sato Lucky Strike B.A.R. Honda 1:10.803
Anthony Davidson Lucky Strike B.A.R. Honda 1:10.841

Good Idea!

We've now setup a special thread that shows the fastest lap times at the test circuits. Click here for those lap times

True. Test times can be misleading however they do provide some guide if a team is making good progress or not.

The true test will be in Melbourne of course

In a McLaren when you cross the finish line :bouncec:

The 2004M is still slower than the 2004 which is encouraging for the rest of us

Interesting that the 2 Williams seem fast out of the box. It is looking good for them although Ralfie isn't far behind so have Toyota improved ?

McLaren having problems with the new car :(
