This is a joke! Knowing his injuries he and his doctors would have known if he could race again. What he and Ferrari have done is poor judgement. Can't help but wonder if he was too slow when he tested the F2007 ?
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!

"In agreement with Stefano Domenicali, we have therefore decided to give Luca Badoer the chance to race for the Scuderia after he has put in so many years of hard work as a test driver" commented Luca di Montezemolo.
This is what should have happened in the first place. 'Poor judgment?' Absolutely. If Ferrari stood a chance in the constructors championship this year, or if they did not already employ reserve drivers like 20 years ago, maybe it makes sense, but trying to pull this off knowing Michael Schumacher is nursing injuries borders on irresponsible. I am glad Michael took himself out of the loop this time.

Luca Badoer certainly deserves for Ferrari to finally honor his contract as it is written. I find this statement by Montezemolo amazing. Now suddenly, they appreciate all the years Luca Badoer has put in as a tester. As someone else said, bollocks!!

Methinks the withdrawl of insurance cover, due to pre-existing injuries would have had the biggest say in the matter, as for all the hooha from Ferrari, Bollocks is the word.
