The gaps between the cars is very very small. Later in the first session a number of drivers went out on the softer compound and there was the usual gap to the harder compound.

Second Friday Practice session underway. Air temperature is 24 degrees and track temperature is 36 degrees.

The times at this stage are much slow than in the first session. Kubica's time is a 1:25.197 but the times continue to improve

Vettel sets fastest 1st and 2nd sector but loses time in the 3rd. He moves into second

Button is on the softer compound, almost everyone else is on the harder compound
