sgd, basically Villeneuve was catching Rubens with Coulthard close behind. Coulthard attempted to pass Villeneuve but touched and spun him. Coulthard still managed to get Barrichello on the last lap.sgd wrote:Hey! nobody has any details on the JV-DC incident???
The incident was not covered on TV.
Villeneuve was obviously dissapointed however Coulthard did apologise. Villeneuve said on his official website "Unfortunately, three laps from the chequered flag, David [Coulthard] hit the rear of my car damaging the suspension. We were both fighting for 8th place and a valuable point but he made a mistake and it took me out of the race.
It's really a shame but he came to apologize and everything is OK now - That's racing!"
