So Michael isn't that much faster.

I am actually surprised that Ferrari have finished testing for the week  You'd expect them to test round the clock

It could mean that they won't take the F2005 to Bahrain.
Interesting to read what Ross Brawn said before the Malaysia "there could be a scenario this weekend where we are not competitive, but the car would not have made much difference because, obviously, tyres are so significant and if we are a long way off on the tyres this weekend, I am not sure the car would make a difference." (from the Friday press conference)

Seems they had a feeling this would happen!

I cannot imagine Ferrari racing the car that Michael and Rubens only tested 1 day each. That is just not Ferrari and if they do bring the 05 then they will be really desparate. But as Brawn said, maybe the car won't make much difference.

I expect them to bring the 04 car.

He seems like blaming Bridgeston for thir pace problmes... but i see more options:

1 from 2:
1.He's sayng that the F2005 is as slow as the F2004, so new car wouldn't make a difference (my one) :P

2.He's blaming only Bridgeston of thier pace promlems... (as the new car (a lot better one) wouldn't make any difference) :bs: :bs:

am i right? is there any other way to track Ross?

the teams are doing huge number of laps !

kovalainen is another rising star and he will replace fisichella in a year or two, his first time in the r25 and he is faster than montagny, that is impressive

Mclaren testing tyres in the old car.... strange, is it as hard on tyres as the MP4/20? :?:  will those tests give real info which can be used with the MP4/20 knowing that they stress tyres different? :?:

Ideally they would want to test them on the 05 spec car however they are testing various compounds for very long runs and the difference in tyre wear between the 2 cars can be factored in. If they can do that accurately it makes sense testing with the old car especially early in the season when there aren't many new cars available and they'd minimise the risk of crashing them.
Ferrari, Toyota and BAR run similar programmes

Yes interesting and he's American. If he makes it to F1 it will be good for the sport in the US.
