Qualifying:

Youngster Chris Vermuelen did a great job of qualifying on pole on a rain soaked circuit in Istanbul, Turkey, taking pole with a time of 2'04.617.

Nicky Hayden who has featured at the top of the time sheets regularly throughout the weekend popped into second position, with Sete Gibernau rounding off the top three, and further confirming that he is one of the best riders when the heavens open up...
