When you consider it is a one rider privateer team, and how many times Casey has binned the thing........you gotta ask yourself "just how good is this little outfit, including the rider". As recently as two meetings ago Casey was way down the grid, cos the team didn't know how to set the bike for the Q tyres  I doffs me lid 8)

That he is doing well in a team that does not have the technical experience & know how of some of the others.....and that he is taking an underpowered bike and wringing its neck to get every last nano second out of it...even if it means tumbling through the gravel.........

No sarcasm was intended I can assure you. i was just trying to echo what Julian had said. Perhaps I should have voiced my appreciation earlier, for that I apologise.

I too would have loved to have seen that season. I like to imagine Dani would have been fighting it with Loris for the number one spot. However I think that may be a very unpopular vision seeing how Dani nurfed the World Champion. Or perhaps Loris would have just run away with it. More likely is that it would have been really tight at the top of the table. :D

I would have liked to see Valentino do a rather better job in the last race but it was a pretty extraordinary ending to a pretty interesting season. It's nice to have Valentino appearing mortal I was beginning to think he might be some kind of alien like Meister Scumacher.
