Another Hayden to race at Laguna Seca..........

Post by mlittle » Thu Jul 12, 2007 9:11 am

According to Speedtv.com, Roger Lee Hayden, brother of current MotoGP World Champion Nicky Hayden, has been tapped as a wild-card entry by Kawasaki alongside the team's regular riders, Randy de Puniet and Anthony West.

Here's the Speedtv.com link.............. www.speedtv.com/articles/moto/motogp/38673/

In addition to competing in the Red Bull USGP, Hayden will be competing in the AMA Supersport support race but will not be competing in the AMA Superbike race during the course of the weekend.

Stones takes the point at Laguna Seca...............

Post by mlittle » Sun Jul 22, 2007 2:33 pm

Let's see.............fastest in session #1, Casey Stoner.
Session #2, Stoner.
Session #3, Stoner again......

Care to guess who's on point for tomorrow's MotoGP Red Bull USGP?
Answer..................Casey Stoner. :shock2: :shock2: :shock2: :shock2:

The thing about Stoner's pole-winning run that caught my eye was this.......from what he said following qualifying, he didn't set that time with fresh tires for qualifying, he set his pole time on scuffed tires that he'd already used in a prior practice session.........

Ant West had a another good ride.
Stoner took pole, lap record, and the win.
Rossi now says tyres are deciding the Championship.
It has been a while since we had an Aussie one-two.
Melandri is one tough bugga, he could barely walk up the stairs to the podium.
