Marlboro Ducati's Casey Stoner captured his second victory of the 2007 MotoGP season at Istanbul Park; joining him on the podium were Spainard Toni Elias w/Gresini Honda and Stoner's Ducati teammate Loris Capirossi. There was one major incident during the race, when Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa collided w/Kawasaki's Olivier Jacque; the resulting crash also collected Fiat Yamaha rider Colin Edwards, along with Chris Vermeulen and Sylvain Guintoli(both Vermeulen and Guintoli were able to continue the race, though).
