Pre-season testing
Pre-season testing
Today was the first day of testing in 2007 after the six-week winter test ban....
First thing to note was the new 'interim' black and yellow livery that covered Valentino Rossi and his Yamaha....The main difference between the latest temporary livery and that seen during late 2006 tests was the appearance of a large Yamaha logo where the to-be-announced new title sponsor's name will appear... unless of course Yamaha is planning to simply back the factory team itself this season.
Rossi himself was wearing new bright yellow leathers, but the former fives-times MotoGP world champion has retained the 'King Arthur and Excalibur' helmet design seen at the end of 2006.

No Problem JacFan
Checa didnt start off 2007 in too promising a manner, after crashing his Honda LCR during day one of the Sepang test.....
Fortunately, the experienced Spaniard appeared to have been unhurt in the fall...
