To quote Casey Stoner after qualifying...

"I think it is going to be a bloody close race up front"

Watcing Dani walk from the bike to his chair, he can put little weight on that leg, it must affect his handling of the bike. Fortunately P.I. is mostly left handers 8)

Methinks that with the pressure of a "home "race Casey will probably chuck his bike towards Tasmania 8)

You are most welcome T-K. I had watched the qualifying and then noticed that no one had submitted them, so I just did it for you. :D :D :D

Figure I may as well try to be a tad useful as well as providing a few laughs.

:D :D :D :D A fantastic race here in Oz.
It was declared a wet race and even though everyone started on slicks.. the rain came down and there was a race to the pits to change bikes.
Marco Melandri did a brilliant job to win in what would have to be quite weird conditions.

:1st: Marco Melandri
:2nd: Chris Vermeulen
:3rd: Valentino Rossi

Rossi was great catching and passing Sete on the last lap.

4th Sete and 5th Hayden.

Chris did well. Showed some real skill.
Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.

I enjoyed his comment, about getting on the "wet bike"
"first corner I tipped it in, stuck my knee on the road, the bike stayed up, away I went"
or words to that effect.
