Just watched Lewis spinning off on lap 2 or 3, ending up in 19th place then overtaking everyone including Nelson Piquet Jr to end up finishing 2nd in the 'SPRINT' race :D It was an extraordinary display of sheer brutal will and blood and guts driving. Haven't seen anything like that since Alex Zanardi was pounding the guys in CART.

I wish they'd shown it live or just played the race from start to finish  :x it would have made the DVD of the year. As it is we must just hope he gets a competitive car in F1 as opposed to an old bus to pootle around at the back of the grid. Worst thing that could possibly happen is for Lewis to be wasted doing a season of testing like Kovi, what a waste of talent that has been! :x Kovi blows Fisi into the weeds, Renault would be Constructor's Champions by now if they'd had the guts to put him in the car. He'd have taken a lot more points off Schumacher and Alonso would already be a two time Champion.

I smell a new thread.

Giogio Pantano was stripped of fastest lap  so the extra point goes to...you guessed it Lewis Hamilton who clinches the GP2 championship with just one race remaining.

Congratulations Lewis, :1st: commiserations to Nelson who put up a great challenge throughout the second half of the season.

My own joy knows no bounds :P you gotta believe he is gonna be in F1 next season...there is little point winning the GP2 title twice  And as I have said in the past a testing role would be just that a :x come on Ron follow the light :light:

Pantano wins again at Monza! With Lewis monstering him, running wide in the first lesmo losing 5 seconds and then gets back in front for just a split second on the penultimate lap. Piquet Jr finishes 5th or 6th after a race long battle for 3rd with Nicolas Lapierre.

Results follow shortly! I'm off to watch the Superbikes what a great morning I'm having
