The marshalls were a joke

Not only that, I feel that the circuit design was a joke.......That hairpin for one  The first turn that they wouldnt allow 22 cars to go into off the start :x Then even the Pitlane, the curve meant that if you were in the pits and a car stopped in the pit ahead of you, you were basically stuck (You may have noticed Niko Hulkenberg had to be pushed backwards before he could get out)

Now add the marshalls to that and you have a right mess up

What is it about manhole covers and China ?

Is this the 3rd international event in China that a manhole cover has caused major problems ?

Men in China are quite small but their manholes are designed for western contractors but they can only buy Chinese manhole covers due to trade restrictions. Ergo they don't fit snuggly 8)

Take the Manhole covers out completely......that way you have no danger of them flinging up and injuring a driver.....and it gives the whole field something to think about when lapping the circuit.... 8) :D

Montoya was lucky to escape injury when his car ran over a loose cover. He retired from the race and helped Renault win the Constructors in 2005.

The wonders of a manhole cover :D
