Brad Jones is in doubt, with a back injury. If Needs be, he will be replaced by M Murchison.

Puff, pant,puff........keerist those ambulances can get along......Mark Skaife is in hospital with an emergency appendix operation.........I don't think he will race this weekend.
( I did leave hospital after 48 hours with mine, when I saw how quickly the meter was ticking over, also S.A.M dog had gone missing...........geez the dog hated helicopters, had to drug him  .....then he couldn't find his nose for 24 hours, much less a bomb, or mine.

Well, the first of the 2 long distance events for 2007 have been run and won. Some of the teams have shown their fragility in this race but most should have those bugs ironed out for the big one in 3 weeks time.

Anyway, the winner for this, the 9th round of V8 8'n'Pole is rah with an impressive 35 points. Not disgraced and coming in as runner up with a score of 30 points was jacfan. These two stood haed and shoulders above the rest of us mere mortals. Congratulations to you both.

These are the standings after Round 9 of V8 8'n'Pole

Total Entry
217 cmlean
217 Julian Mayo
217 rah
204 Southernman
197 GhoGho
194 Bundy
183 jacfan
177 mlittle
166 rglean
157 bob from S.A.
153 <TK>

There's a 3 way tie at the top. The way that Julian & I are faltering, there's every chance that rah, Southernman or any of you could take this inaugural V8 8'n'Pole.
