Team McLaren Mercedes continued to test the MP4-21 on track in Barcelona today. Juan Pablo Montoya was at the wheel for his second day in the new car.

Running was again dominated by the weather, with the cold and foggy temperatures seeing the track closed during the early part of the morning. Testing began in earnest shortly after 11am, with work for Juan Pablo initially restricted to completing a series of systems checks on short runs, because of the cold track conditions not allowing for any significant results.

Juan Pablo began to put in longer stints after midday and ended the day having completed 380km over 81 laps.

The Colombian set the ninth fastest time of the day with a 1m17.482.

Gary Paffett again worked alongside Juan Pablo in the interim MP4-20. Gary's day started in earnest just before midday and he was able to cover just over 300 km, and he was the twelfth fastest time with a 1m18.246.

Kimi Raikkonen will be in Barcelona tomorrow to take over driving duties of the MP4-21 from Juan Pablo, which will be the Finn's first run in the car. He will be joined by Pedro de la Rosa in the MP4-20.
