Valencia - Day 3
Fifth and final day of testing at Barcelona saw Anthony Davidson set the fastest time of the day ahead of
Jenson Button and Giancarlo Fisichella. The final day was disrupted by heavy rain and only Renault and Honda went out onto the
track. McLaren and Toyota decided not to test on the track due to the wet conditions.
Weather
conditions remained wet with track temperatures reaching a maximum of 11 degrees Celsius.
At
Valencia, Ferrari's Felipe Massa concluded testing. He concentrated on testing Bridgestone wet weather tyres. Massa driving the F2005
with a restricted V10 covered 117 laps on the short version of the track with a best lap time of 1:04.720.
The next major
Formula 1 test will be at Jerez commencing on the 7th of December.
