16 November: China and Japan F1 events swapped.

Following the agreement of the two national sporting authorities, the FASC (Federation of Automobile Sports of the People’s Republic of China) and JAF (Japanese Automobile Federation), and with the approval of the FIA World Motor Sport Council, the dates of the Chinese and Japanese Grands Prix have been swapped.

The new dates for the events will be as follows:

1 October, 2006 Grand Prix of China

8 October, 2006 Grand Prix of Japan
