29 April: Formula 1 Testing concludes at Jerez

The final day of testing at Jerez saw McLaren topping the timesheets again with Pedro de la Rosa breaking the unofficial lap record set by Michael Schumacher last year. de la Rosa setting a time of 1:15.561. Kimi Raikkonen was second fastest with Fernando Alonso third.

David Coulthard covered the most number of laps with 138 followed by Pedro de la Rosa and Fernando Alonso.

Weather conditions were warm and sunny with air temperatures reaching 28 degrees and track temperatures reaching 33 degrees
