4 Formula 1 teams commenced testing today at the Paul Ricard circuit. BAR, McLaren, Toyota and Renault were present with each of
them having two test drivers present.
Anthony Davidson in the BAR 007 set the fastest time of the day ahead of Ricardo Zonta and Pedro de la Rosa (both in 04 modified
cars).
Most of the drivers covered a high number of laps with Bernoldi covering a massive 176 laps!
Weather conditions were partly cloudy with air temperature reaching 18 degrees while track temperature reached 26 degrees.
Testing continues tomorrow with Jenson Button joining the test.
At Mugello, Michael Schumacher was behind the wheel of the F2005. He covered 81 laps with a best time of 1:21.233.
Williams
commence a 2 day test at Barcelona from tomorrow.
