Extreme weather conditions in Spain overnight and during today led to a washout for the West McLaren Mercedes team's final day of
testing at the Circuito de Jerez.
The team was due to complete its third and final day of testing at the Spanish circuit
today, with Pedro de la Rosa behind the wheel of the MP4-19B. The team waited until 13:30 to see if the weather would improve,
however the continued precarious track conditions meant that no valuable data could be gained from the planned programme, so the
decision was taken to pack away the equipment. As a consequence Pedro de la Rosa completed no laps of the circuit.
