The BAR and Toyota Formula 1 teams remained at Jerez over the weekend conducting wet tyre testing. On Saturday Jenson Button and
Ricardo Zonta were on duty. Zonta set a fastest time of 1:29.332 covering 119. Button covered 99 laps after suffering from
mechanical problems in the morning.
On Sunday Ricardo Zonta continued testing for Toyota setting a best time of 1:27.054 and
covering 117 laps.
Next Formula 1 test at Jerez is scheduled for the 8th to 13th of March
