3 February: Kimi Raikkonen fastest in the MP4/20 The third day of testing at the Valencia track saw Kimi Raikkonen in the MP4/20 set the fastest time ever for the 2005 specification car. Kimi set a best time of 1:09.005 beating the previous best time set by Alonso yesterday by almost a full second. Alex Wurz in the MP4/19 was second fastest while Jarno Trulli in the Toyota was third. Kimi Raikkonen was pleased with today's running and said "Today I completed 117 laps of the circuit. There were no problems, and it was a very productive day's running." There were several red flags during the test session disrupting the running. Ferrari caused 4 red flag situations, 2 for each of their drivers while Fisichella and Heidfeld caused 1 each. Testing continues tomorrow with 5 teams as Renault have concluded their test.
